Because I am syncing a palm pilot, I need to reconfigure
my primary mail client from outlook express, which my
cable system supports to outlook which they do not. They
won't help me...can you?????

Assuming you have OL installed, in OE export mail settings to OL, also if
necessary your mail also.
Then in Internet Options/Programs select OL as yr default mail client
Be aware if you open OE and it is set to check for mail on opening, yr mail
will be downloaded.
Either set OE not to check for mail or once OL is fully functioning delete
yr mail accounts in OE.
The reason yr ISP doesn't support OL is that it is more than just a mail
app, and they don't wish to get involved in the detail of OL - the mail
account settings are the same in both apps

David, I am having the same problem as Melinda and have done everything you suggested, even deleting my account from OE and making Outlook 2002 my primary default client. Everything imported fine and I can send messages from Outlook 2002, but I do not receive any e-mails at all in the Outlook inbox. When I ran through the set up wizard, my test message indicated it was completed fine (but I never got the message!). Not until I re-activate the OE account do I get my messages!

Any other suggestions?
