Outlook as Default

I have Vista Home Premium and Office 2007 Ultimate. I cannot send a web
page to an e-mail recipient without copying and pasting the URL. When I am
in Photoshop Elements I can't send a picture via Outlook. It says to make
Outlook my default e-mail and I have. The hotkey for e-mail will not work
on my Dell keyboard.
I have spent a lot of time today talking with Dell and Microsoft and both
want me to send pictures from My Pictures and copy and paste the URL of a web
site into my e-mail. This is ridiculous. I have used Outlook and
Photoshop Elements with XP and had no issue doing the above. Does anyone
have a solution to this problem?

Just out of curiosity, have you gone in to the Default Programs utility on
the Start Menu?

Also, what application launches when you Try to send a URL or Photo?

I have done this over and over. Dell & Microsoft went though the same thing
with me. Norhing comes up at all when I attempt to send e-mail from any
place other than Outlook itself. I always got an e-mail screen with
attachment ready to go when I used XP and Office 2003. I am now using Vista
Home Premium and Office 2007 Ultimate.

Try setting the default to Windows Mail, and then setting
it back to Outlook.

Yes, Dell, Microsoft and I have gone to the Default Programs utility.
Outlook has been set as the default e-mail program. No application launch
when I try to send a URL or photo. I just worked 1 1/2 hours with a super
tech at Dell and he is as frustrated as I. He sent e-mail to Microsoft
asking their help.

Perhaps you can export the two registry keys below to help us troubleshoot:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Clients\Mail
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Clients\Mail

Click Start, type REGEDIT.EXE and press ENTER
Navigate to the branches above one by one.
Use the File - Export option to export the branch to seperate REG files.
Close REGEDIT.EXE

Copy the contents of the REG fileS (edit with Notepad) and post it here.
