Outlook: arrange contacts within a category in alphabetical order

Need to arrange contacts within a category so they appear in alphabetical
order when in categories view. Any suggestions how to accomplish this task?
 
Telling us yersion of Outlook would be helpful (and standard posting
etiquette) as they behave differently.

Try this, it works in 2003 (which is where the function first went a bit
screwy):

Turn on the advanced toolbar
Use an Ungrouped view (eg Phone List)
sort by the column you want to alphabeticise (click the column header)
Turn on the Group By Box (it's in the Advanced toolbar beside the Current
View white window)
Now drag the Categories column header into the Group By Box.
