Can Outlook be installed and run on Win2000 or XP client computers within a
Win 2000 domain without using Exchange or pop 3 email or any email at all?
Can it be used just to send/receive messages and calendars betweem members
of the domain?
Thank you,
Linda

Linda,

While Outlook CAN be installed in a domain, and have no e-mail
connectivity at all, it DOES require some sort of an e-mail server before
users will be able to exchange e-mail. If your users would like to share
calendar they can also do this without an Exchange server using Net
Folders.....

... buit it too requires an e-mail acocunt to be used. We welcome your
feedback on this functionality fo Outlook. Please send e-mail to
(e-mail address removed) and let us know how YOU believe Outlook should
function. Out product teams use YOUR feedback in designing new features
for Outlook, when plannign the upcoming releases.
