I can't view calendar appointments on exchange 5.5 server
using outlook 2002 sp2.

I can view my e-mails, however.

How can I get my calendar working? Please Help!

Hi Sue,

When I look in the Outlook Calendar, there are no entries
at all. In schedule+ 7.0a on the Exchange 5.5 Server
however, the schedule is packed with entries almost every
workday.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Mike

Let's get the complete picture here. Are you saying that your calendar was
previously maintained with Schedule+ 7.0a? If you create a new entry in your
Outlook calendar, do you see it?

Hi Sue,

Sorry, but I'm a dummy. I'm not sure where I'm going
wrong. I used to use Exchange client to view my e-mail and
schedule. I removed the Exchange client and installed
Outlook. I configure it to point to our Exchange server,
and upon opening Outlook I was able to view all of my e-
mail, but cannot view my schedule in the Calendar. I must
be doing something wrong. Got any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

You're no dummy, I'm just trying to ascertain the details of your
configuration. Schedule+ hasn't been a supported program for years, so I
have to dig pretty deep to get information and don't want to do that until I
have all the facts.

So, please answer my earlier question: Can you create a new appointment in
your Calendar folder in Outlook and see it OK?

I suspect that you haven't done anything to migrate your Schedule+ data into
the Calendar and other folders that Outlook users. Since you seem to still
have access to Schedule+, try exporting everything to an .scd file. Then use
the File | Import and Export command in Outlook to import it.

You also might find some of the information at

Hi Sue,

I can enter a meeting and view it using Outlook, but it's
the only meeting, when there should be hundreds. When I
went to import the .scd file into outlook, it said that
I'd have to run my calendar from my machine, when I want
that done from the server. Is that true?

The purpose of generating an .scd file is to give you something to import
into your Outlook Calendar folder in your mailbox on the server.
