Okay, so I had my outlook connected to a MS exchange network over VPN
previously. I no longer consult for the company and do not have access to
their network now. I want to reconfigure my outlook to connect to a student
account at my college.
When I tried to open outlook before, I would get a message saying "microsoft
exchange server unavailable". The "retry" choice..nothing happens. "Cancel"
closes outlook. "Work offline" gets me the error message "unable to open
default e-mail folders. The information store could not be opened." The only
option in outlook is then to click "OK", which closes outlook.
I could not get to the outlook settings to fix this, so I uninstalled office
xp and installed office 2003, thinking the settings would be wiped clean.
And, no, they weren't. I get the same exact error.
So, I need to know how to get in there to get to the settings, either by
finding the old file and deleting it or by some other way I don't know.
Please help me, it's driving me nuts trying to figure this out.
