when i try to open the address book it says "The Contacts
folder associated with this address list could not be
opened. It may have been moved or deleted or you do not
have permissions. For more info on how to remove this
Outlook Address Book, see Microsoft Help." Please advise

1. Do you have MS Outlook or MS Office also installed?

2. In WindowsXP, the OE user files, including *.wab and *.dbx files, are by
default marked as hidden. To view these files in Explorer, you must enable
Show Hidden Files and Folders under Start | Control Panel | Folder Options |
View.

Having done this, in Explorer see if you can find your Address Book
(WinKey+F>*.wab). Right-click on it>Properties>Does it have a Read Only
attribute?

I have MS office and the file is not read-only. When i
try to export the address book from OE to outlook, it
only lets me put them in the contacts folder. It seems
that there is no address book in outlook that the book
can be exported to.
