Using Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003. Just setup new PC and everything seems
to be working except my contacts are not showing up. I right click on
contacts, left click properties, click on the Outlook Address Book tab but
the "Show this folder as an e-mail address book" is greyed out and I can not
get to it.

Thanks for any assistance.

Is the Outlook Address Book service shown here: Tools menu > Email accounts
View/change existing directories/address books?

If not, add it.

You need to add the Outlook Address Book service to the mail profile. Click
Tools>E-mail Accounts>Add a new directory or address book>Next. Select
"Additonal Address Books", click Next, select Outlook Address Book, click
Next, then Finish. You may have to stop and restart Outlook. That checkbox
should be available when you're done.

That did it.

Thanks.

I wish I could say the same. I have the same problem as Glenn and tried all
these suggestions but still cannot get my Outlook Address Book to synchronize
with the email program. Any other suggestions, please?

What version of Outlook? Have you tried removing and readding the OAB
service from your mail profile?
