Hi,

We have developed an add-in for Outlook 2000. But if the
desktop logons to a non-administrator user, the add-in
will be disabled and cannot be loaded into Outlook.

What's more interesting, I tried to load the COM add-in
built by Microsoft --- outlvba.dll, it would not be loaded
either. The following message shows up:

'C:\Documents and
Settings\test.CORP.VIAQUO.COM\Application
Data\Microsoft\AddIns\outlvba.dll' is not a valid Office
add-in.

And I already copied outlvba.dll under the directory
mentioned in the message.

Is the dll registered?

Are you using the Microsoft Exchange Server and
Outlook XP? If so you may want to look into:

Administrative Options for the Outlook E-mail Security
Update:
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/admin.htm

There is an option for allowing com addins that you may
be able to use.
