Hi can some one point me to where the information on the accounts is stored
for outlook 2003?

I re install windows XP from time to time and would like to avoid re
inputting the account data each time

Thanks

I posted this in the outlook environment group as well, but it doesn't look
to active.

Well, I know that for OE look in
C:\Doc and Setting\Your User Name\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\Numbers and Letters\Microsoft\

Why not use the FAST (file and settings transfer) utility that comes with
XP? I've used this tool when I've upgraded a user's computer - saves lots
of hassels. I've also used it when I've needed to transfer the settings
from one account (Administrator) on a laptop to a different account
(something other than the Administrator account) on the same system. The
entire process can take 15-30 minutes depending on the settings/files
transfered; however, it's well worth the time because an identical copy of
the user's environment is transferred to the new PC/account.
