Outlook 98

I've installed Outlook 98 (Corporate) on a new machine running WinXPPro SP2.
When I try to create a profile for one particular user, the Actions menu is
blank, and I cannot check Internet mail (only Exchange Server. If I set up a
different account, all is just dandy.
Anyone know what is going on?

Hi,

I've got a couple of suggestions for you to try.

Often a problem like this can be resolved by resetting the menu bar.
Open Outlook, right-click on the menu, select customize, click on the Toolbars tab, and hit reset

If this doesn't resol ve the issue, Outlook uses several cache files that could possibly be corrupt on your machine and cause this problem.

Exit Outlook, search for and delete the following two files. These files will be created the next time Outlook is started.

outcmd.dat
extend.dat
