I need to move all of my Outlook data and settings from Outlook 98 (running
under Win 98se to another PC which will be running Outlook 2003 under WIN XP
Pro. Would simply copying the pst file from the old installtion to the new
installation acomplish this or is it more complicated?

You must first configure Outlook with your account settings. Then transfer
the pst-file to your new computer and connect to it by File-> Open-> Outlook
Data File... To set this as your primary folderset Tools-> E-mail Accounts->
button Next-> dropdownlist Default Delivery Location

Tips of the month:
-What do the Outlook Icons Mean?
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1

Roady:
Thanks for your reply.
1: Will I have to establish the account settings manually or can I transfer
them.
2: What is a "primary folderset." Is that something in Outlook 2003 that I
did not have to worry about in Outlook 98?
BTW: I am running Outlook 98 in IMO mode.
