I have 2 issues.

1) When attaching Word Documents, in particular, to E-mail
messages, they sometimes are received by the receipent
as .dat files instead of .doc files. I have resent the
same original message to my own in-box and it always shows
up fine.

2) At different times when attaching documents, sometimes
the file is is inserted directly into the body of the e-
mail message and other times it is inserted into a window
at the bottom of the e-mail message. I have not been able
to deteremine when/why it does it one way vs. the other.

Any suggestions?

Thank You,

SBS.

To change the format of your email:
Open TOOLS | OPTIONS... | MAIL FORMAT

Try using Plain Text format to send your attachment.

If you use Rich Text Format (RTF) the attachment will
be inserted in the body of the message.

If you use Plain Text or HTML the attachment will be
inserted at the bottom of the message in the extra window.
