Outlook 97 auto disconnection after send and receive

I've just installed Office 97. After dialling up through Outlook 97 to send and receive mail, I am disconnected from the internet. I know there is an option somewhere to turn off disconnection to the internet after sending and receiving mail, but I'm not sure where it is - is it in Outlook, Internet Explorer or in Control Panel?
 
You need to post the connection type you set for your mail account.
