Outlook 97 and Exchange 2003

Hi all,
I read somewhere or have been lead to believe that Outlook
97 and Exchange 2003 do not work well together.
Has anyone had experience with this??

Outlook 97, while unsupported by Microsoft anymore should still be able to
perform basic MAPI, or POP3 connectivity to an Exchange 2003 server.
