I had to reiinstall my Office 97 along with my entire PC.
At one time I was entitled to an upgrade from Outlook 97
to Outlook 98. Of course it has been years, so I can not
find that link. Is it still available some where?

Copied from Slipstick.com;

Outlook 98 is no longer available for free public download from Microsoft's
web site. Users who downloaded Outlook 98 during the free download period
and need to add components to their installation of Outlook 98 can still do
so.
If your Outlook 98 installation has been damaged, you may call Microsoft for
reinstallation instructions. Microsoft Support numbers for your area can be
found at Microsoft Product Support Services. You may find you get a better
response by filing a support incident via Microsoft's WebResponse mechanism.

You can still get the Outlook 98 CD in some Outlook 98 books, while supplies
last.

Outlook 98 is also included on the Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 Service
Pack 1 and Service Pack 2 CDs, in the \Client folder. These CDs are also
included in a TechNet subscription.

I'm afraid that is long gone. Microsoft pulled that website down when
the offer expired some time in '98.

Why not try Mozilla browser with a full-featured email and news client
and an optional calendar as well, plus lots of other add-ons if you care
to look around their community, like Quicknote (similar to Outlook
sticky notes).
And, as opposed to MS stuff, it works, without coming up with unhelpful
error messages. www.mozilla.org

Enjoy
