I recently set up a new server (SBS2K3) with Exchange and the POP3
connector. Outlook 2K3 was pushed out to all the client machines. I've
joined 12 existing computers to the new network. (They had not been on a
network/server prior) All the computers and user accounts migrated fine. All
but one user that is. This user keeps getting a pop-up login screen asking
for the LDAP directory server with the following items to be filled in:
Server Name:
Port:
User Name:

The "default" values are Null, 3268, Null.

This only seems to occur when he opens Outlook. If he cancels the box
Outlook seems to work ok for the most part. He is also the only person using
a Palm type personal data assistant that he syncs with Outlook.

Prior to the OL 2K3 he was not getting the pop-up and was running OL 2K.

Any input/suggestions/comments welcome.

TIA

Duff

If he's not using an LDAP server, remove the service from the mail profile.
Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories or address
books>Next. Select the LDAP server and click Remove.

Will do, thanks Brian.
