What if all software reviewers wrote reviews like that---if they wrote as
their whole review---"I have no idea if you would like or not like this
software--try it yourself!" What if all software reviews were just like
that?
Of course you don't know what I might like or dislike. It is still helpful
to hear reviews and comments from others, with their opinions on what is
improved in a new version of software, whether anything is not as good in
the new version, etc. That's what forums like these are for. Of course
reviewers often add "YMMV", since each person's software usage, opinions of
it, will of course vary. But it's always good to hear opinions of others,
who have tried a product.

software--try it yourself!" What if all software reviews were just like
that?
Of course you don't know what I might like or dislike. It is still helpful
to hear reviews and comments from others, with their opinions on what is
improved in a new version of software, whether anything is not as good in
the new version, etc. That's what forums like these are for. Of course
reviewers often add "YMMV", since each person's software usage, opinions of
it, will of course vary. But it's always good to hear opinions of others,
who have tried a product.
