1. Was trying to arrange some folders differently this afternoon and really
screwed outlook---maybe pst files corrupted?
2. After trying some remedial steps which did not work, decided to uninstall
and reinstall 2007 outlook. i have windows 7 on the computer
3. how can i uninstall outlook
4. then reinstall it--the actual procedure is straight forward, but the
program asks for the 25 some digit key code. I have misplaced the white cover
which had the disk inside. the disc itself has no 25 digit number. the disc i
ordered separately from a third party. if any of you have had this problem,
how did you solve it?
5.If i am able to install back correctly, is there any compatibility or
similar test i have to do to check that the system is clean and ready?

THANKS MUCH!

If its a standalone version of Outlook the key is on the case, who was the
third party that supplied the disk?
Uninstalling / Reinstalling Outlook has no impact on the Outlook Profile or
its data files

What you describe so far contains no compelling reason to suggest a reinstall
would be of any value.
3. how can i uninstall outlook

Depends on if it's a standalone version or a part of an Office suite. If the
former, it should be in Add/Remove Programs. If the latter, you select Office
in Add/Remove Programs, click Change, pick the Add/Remove Features option,
locate Outlook, and change it to "Not available", completing the setup wizard
afterward.

Before you go through all this, describe what you did and what the symptoms
are. You may be able to fix it without an uninstall/reinstall.
