I'm running Outlook XP and Outlook 2007 (on separate machines) against an Exchange Server 2003 back end.
In Outlook XP I've configured some Exchange public folder favorites to be synced against offline storage on the local machine. That
works fine (i.e., check the box in Define Send/Receive Groups --> Exchange --> favorites to download).
However, in Outlook 2007 when I do the same thing the check box doesn't stay checked (i.e., the next time I go back into Define
Send/Receive Groups --> Exchnage... the previously checked boxes are cleared). More importantly, no synchronization ever takes place
(I discovered this the hard way when I was looking on the Outlook XP machine for a new contact item I'd entered on the Outlook 2007
machine -- it wasn't there).
How do you get public folders/favorites to work properly with Outlook 2007?
