Outlook 2007 SP2 mobile ph contacts

Hi, I am using outlook 2007 SP2 and whenever I add a new “mobile" number it
takes the first 2 digits as the area code - how do I stop this?
I try to edit it but they revert back - I just want the number stored - then
I can sync to my Blackberry,

How Outlook masks phone numbers is based on your dialing location. It is
hard coded and cannot be changed. The only ways I know of to prevent
Outlook's masking of phone numbers are:
1. Enclose the phone numbers in quotes or commas.
2. Set your operating system's dialing location to a null value.

1/ If I enclose the moblie phone numbers in quotes or commas this will not
effect when I sync to blackberry and able to call without any problem?
2/ I have had a look at Control Panel - Phone and Modem.. how do I set to
null value.

Also the numbers that were on my sim when snyc's to outlook worked fine with
no area code, it's just when I add them in outlook.

Your issues are with your sync software, not with Outlook. Blackberry should
provide support for this. We have no way of doing so.

1. We have no way of knowing. Not an Outlook question.
2. Depends on your OS, which we have no way of knowing.
