Outlook 2007 slowness

A number of us have installed Outlook 2007 to evaluate how it works within our network. We have all found it to be much slower than Outlook 2003 in opening, loading emails from the server when it first is opened, moving from one email to another and displaying the contents, A couple of us have also installed it on our home computers and we have noticed the same issues.

Has anyone else had these issues? Were you able to resolve them?
