Hi

When I click on the 'Signatures' button in Outlook 2007 - nothing
happens. This is also the case with the 'Stationery & Fonts' & 'Editor
Options' buttons.

I tried deleting the Temporary Internet Files (as suggested elsewhere)
but to no avail.

Cheers
Mark

Do you have the entire Office suite installed or just Outlook?
On what version of Windows?
Have you tried running an Office Diagnostic/Repair already?

Hi

The o/s is XP 2002 SP2
Yes the entire office suite is installed
Yes I've tried a diagnostic run

Sorry :-(

I've even checked the event viewer in case there was anything there
but nothing showing. This is a new installation from Dell on a
Dimension 9200 (not sure if that helps?)

It's almost as if it's a permissions type problem or that I need to
update a trust relationship somewhere? Of course I could be barking up
a totally wrong tree there. However, the user is a local administrator
& this is a one user system.

oops - was logged in under another profile - it was still me who
originated & replied! LOL

And I can assume you already have an e-mail account configured in Outlook?
See Tools-> Account Settings...

When you logon as a different user (create a test user or use the Guest
account in case you only have one account configured) do you have the same
issues?

Ok... well it's resolved but I don't really know how. Here's what I
did (for what it's worth)

I logged the user off & logged back in as Administrator & opened the
Tools--> Options --> Signatures OK. So I logged off & back on as the
original user & hey presto all is working. Very odd.

Maybe it was something which hadn't completed as part of the
installation? Certainly nothing flagged up as needing a finishing
touch.

Thanks for all your input. Sorry it's not really a fix & probably
won't help anyone else.

Mark
