Hi,

I have outlook 2007 / Exchange 2003 running.

When I use the "search address books" feature, it only search the
Global Adress List, but not my attached PST Folder!
How can I configure Outlook to search both the GAL + the PST
contacts???

Click the little addressbook icon in outlook, goto TOOLS / OPTIONS...
Add your contact lists in the third area labelled "When sending mail, check
names using these address lists in the following order"
Also make sure that your contact folders are set as addressbooks by
right-clicking all of them individually , choose PROPERTIES then goto
"OUTLOOK ADDRESS BOOK" tab and checkmark the option "Show this folder as an
e-mail Addressbook"

This might help. I just installed Office 2007 and attempted to do a Search
of my Contacts. Nothing. I clicked on a message bar that told me that x
number of items were being indexed. I searched for Help about this and
finally read that I should go to Control Panel \ Indexing and I wound up
clciking of pst files to be included in the indexing of the hard drive.

I am slightly confused about this since I would have thought this would have
automatically been included.
