I have a big problem. I currently have 10 of 10 users that are having issues
with their client outlook 2007 program. We went ahead and checked the server
running exchange and the server is running optimally. Yet the users are
still experiencing slow downs. The users are also connected to a shared
database for Business Contact Manager usage. They also share a public folder
that is about 6GB in size. The issue they are experiencing would be as
follows:
- When they open up an email it takes about 10-15 seconds to open.
- If they reply to an email and begin typing text it takes about 10 seconds
for any information to appear.
- When they switch emails in conjunction with preview reading pane, it
takes about 10-15 seconds.
- If they ar updating any contacts, it takes 10-15 seconds for any changes
to reflect.
Just to sum it up, it takes about 10-15 seconds to do about anything in
Outlook, when the slowdowns begin. These slowdowns hapeen on avergae every
15 minutes or so.
