outlook 2007 / RSS / BUG?

S

Spectre

Hi,

I am using the feeds feature but I have two problems with it :

- when clicking on the RSS directory (having disabled the default page
in the options), it displays a feed that I added but which doesn't
appears in the fedds list. In between, I had added an OPLM file
containing this same feed. Any idea on how to get rid of this feed?

- trying to redo everything from scratch, I tried to delete the feeds
directory. But the delete command is never available, even if I delete
all the subdirectories. Any idea how to solve the problem?

One more question : is there any link to a beta tester forum?

Thanks. Bye ^^

1) You can remove accounts through Tools-> Account Settings-> RSS feeds.
Here you can also set the delivery folder and some additional settings.

2) This is the forum to discuss the Outlook 2007 Beta Preview. Only official
testers have access to a private newsgroup.

Thanks for your quick answer, but

- with the Tools-> Account Settings-> RSS feeds I can remove the feeds
one by one (I did it before to try to delete the feeds folder but even
if there is no feed in, I can't delete the Feeds folder.
- ok, I am not an official tester!

Actually when I delete a folder it automagically deletes the account as
well. There was even a nice prompt for it. What message do you get when you
delete a folder?

Hi,

Well I made a test and delete one folder. It responded normaly ("do you
want to del... yes/no).

But still no delete command available for the feeds folder.

The ennoying thing is, as I mentionned previously, that my favorite
feed is now "embedded" directly in the feeds folder meaning that when I
click on the folder the feed appears directly (the default page for the
feeds is disable)but can't be updated.
If I delete this feed from the list, it doesn't change anything.
Nor can I add it again in the feeds list

Bye
