Outlook 2007 respond buttons missing; "No Response Required" in pr

Just installed Office 2007. When receiving new meeting invites, i view it in
the preview pane and status changes to "No Response Required". When the
invite is opened, options of accept/decline/tentative are not available; i'll
need to go into the invite from Calendar to see those. No Delegates.

Help!!
