outlook 2007 remove do-do list

Is there a way to remove the to-do list in tasks? everytime i open outlook i
have to click on tasks to see my tasks, in 2003 outlook remembers my last
selection but not in 2007
 
Right click the To Do header in the column. Uncheck what you don't want.
