Outlook 2007 Reading Email

When I used Outlook Express, I double-clicked on emails which displayed their
contents in a seperate window. After reading I would delete the message, I
was then presented with the following email in the same window. In Outlook
however, it doesn't happen this way - after delete the seperate window closes
and am returned to Outlook's main email screen. Is it possible to make
Outlook perform as Outlook Express does in this respect?

Tools>Options>E-mail Options. Adjust the "After moving or deleting an open
item" drop-down.
