If AVG is installed then disable its email integration.
Outlook might run slow at first and while indexing is first done. After that
you will probably find it faster than Outlook 2003. If not - it's something
on your side that is slowing it down.

Hi

I installed Office 2007 Pro Plus on my laptop and it replaced the previous
version of Office 2003 which had been working flawlessly for quite some time.
When asked the question I allowed the Beta 2 install routine to follow its
own detail install routine. This seemd to go ok except that it asked once or
twice to shutdown some mysterious apps that it said I should close. However
in the dialogue there were no apps listed so whatever it was aksing I could
not guess. I suggested it ignore this and proceed. I had already closed down
every app I could think of that might be responsible.

SO now it is installed and though I have not checked EVERY app I already
have some MAJOR probs.

Outlook 2007 takes literally 15 minutes to load vs the 10-20 seconds
previously. As far as I can make out it has already done all it needs to do
importing my .pst files.

This is a huge drag.

When it is finally ready I find that my emails DO NOT SHOW CORRECTLY. It
appears to be a massive RENDER problem that prevents viewing almost every
email except basic text emails. Whatever it is doing it is random, a few
emails render OK. Very few I might add.

Even assuming that there are more html protection routines in there (I
checked and added those email addreses to the 'safe sender' list - still the
emails do not show.

Obviously Outlook 2007's main purpose is to be an effective email client.
That is simply a moot point if it fails to show any email content!

What is wrong here?

How can I read my email?

Thanks.....
