When I attempt to read forwarded messages Outlook tries to preview and
returns the following:

The file can not be previewed because of an error with the following previewer
Microsoft Office Outlook Message and item previewer

I removed the Google add in and there is no change.

original Message are no problem.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium edition and Outlook 2007.

Any suggestions

Have you received any helps with this problem? I am having the same issue on
outlook with another computer.

Also having the same problem with Outllook Preview, Office 2007 & Vista Home
Premium. Seems like it started a week or two ago and limited to .eml message
attachments. JPG attchments okay.

Problem Solved. I upgraded Google Desktop to Vista compatible version and
attachments work normally. Others have had sucess by uninstalling google
desktop completely.

What's your point sfefcooper? Removing the add-in does not fix the issue.
Updating the google desktop or removing it from Programs & Features does.

I am having the same issue. Office 2007 running on vista, 2day old machine. It never had Google Dektop installad but it did have picasa 3 and the tool bar which I removed. Interesting thing is, If I save the attachment to the desktop it still will not open. However; if I save the attachment on an other machine and transfer the file I can view it. It appears Outlook is currupting the file. It only happens with .jpg files or anything that requires "Microsoft Office Outlook image previewer" or "Windows Photo Gallery" to open.
Anymore thoughts?
