Outlook 2007 - Postal codes not displaying

Running Vista Home Edition. Migrated data from another CRM program
(Maximizer). The postal codes do not display in the Business Card or Detailed
Address views. Have attempted many things to correct this issue. The process
was working until I upgraded from the Student/Education Version to the Small
Business Version. Any ideas of how I can have the program display Postal
Codes?

Did you map the fields properly when you imported the data? Are you using
Business Contact Manager with Outlook?
 
Thank you for the swift response Brian. I was unable to find instructions on
the mapping process within Outlook. The CRM is hard coded to transfer all the
main contact details including the postal codes. Where do I find the
instructions for mapping Outlook. By the way, I do have Business Contact
Manager with Outlook but am not using it.

The operative item in your response is: "The CRM is hard coded to transfer
all the main contact details including the postal codes"

Based on that and your first post - the following would apply:

#1 - Question needs to be posed to the CRM (Maximizer) folks since it is
their product that is control of the data flow in terms of what is (or
isn't) put where. Absolutely nothing you can do about this via Outlook since
it's not remotely involved with the data transfer to the Outlook <data
repository>
#2 - Be sure to tell them all the relevant details about your Outlook
version when asking the question since it is relevant

When you import you'll have the option to map fields with in the import
wizard.
By the way, I do have Business Contact Manager with Outlook but am not
using it.

Define "not using it". Do you mean you didn't install it or that you did
install it but don't employ the feature? If the latter, uninstall it in
Add/Remove Programs and see if that makes a difference.
 
Brian, spent 3.5 hours with Microsoft tech support this afternoon.
Apparently, the contact data I was using associated with the CRM was
corrupted in the sync process. Tech suppor had to manipulate the data to
render the contact information useable. All in all a tremendous experience.
Kudos to the Microsoft gang and thank goodness for the 90 day support feature
with the program.
