Outlook 2007 on Vista - Emails to Myself Don't POP in?

I often email myself reminders or take notes in an open email during a
phone call and send it to myself later so I can recall inportant
details. In testing Outlook 2007 out on my new computer (Vista Home
Premium), I got everything setup fine so that I can send and receive
messages from other people, and I can send messages to myself out of
Outlook and they go out and show up in the outbox, but then they don't
POP into my inbox. They're available if I check my email outside of
Outlook, so they're definitely sending, and the actual email is
receiving, but they don't POP into the Outlook client?

I feel like this is something there might be a setting for, where
because there's a copy in the sent messages a second copy isn't
appearing in the inbox? Alternatively it could be a setting in my
regular email (google partner pages domain registration - the email is
managed through a gmail interface, but on the backend I don't know
much else!), I suppose?

If anyone has any experience with this or would be willing to try and
talk me through this, I'd definitely appreciate it!

THANKS!!!

Good idea. Set up an Outlook rule to copy these to a seperate folder and
flag them for review.

As an alterantive, you can just drag the email to Tasks and continue note
taking there.
