Outlook had been working fine, but suddenly it will not open. Instead, I get
this error message: "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the
Outlook window.

Please HELP!

I am having the same problem right now... totally out of the blue. Exactly
where do you type this info in?

In the Run command (Windows key + R on your keyboard) or in the Start Menu
Search box (Windows Vista or Windows 7).

THanks. I have Vista, so I cut and pasted this into the Search box (in
Start):
Run; outlook.exe /resetnavpane
then clicked Search Everywhere and get the message that "No items match your
search." Is that correct? What next?

Incorrect.

Only type "outlook.exe /resetnavpane" (without quotation marks)

Thanks Leonid. I didn't type the quotes the first time, but figured out that
you hit the Start button, then type run, then type the rest of the info in
the box that comes up next.... Thanks for your help!!
