I have multiple address books but my mail form will only search in my main
"Contacts" adress book
How do I make my other address books available to Outlook mail
Thanks
Sam

Could you provide details, please, on what you mean by "mail form," "search," and "multiple address books"?

I too am looking for a way to have multiple address books just like I did in
Outlook Express. I'm now using Outlook 2007 and would like to have this
feature here also - for example a) Contacts - Everyday b) Contacts -
Business c) Contacts - Social d) Contacts - Other. And be able to post an
address from any of the address books to a particular e-mail. Thanks in
advance.

On each contacts folder's Properties dialog, you should see an Outlook Address Book tab, with a check box to designate that folder as one you'd like to see in the address book dialog.

Sue: I’m sorry; but I don’t quite understand what you’re talking about.
Here’s what I tried to do – a) I opened the address book (the window was
titled “Address Book: Contacts†in the upper left hand corner. And the first
name in the address book was high-lighted. b) I clicked on “Toolsâ€, then on
“Options†and that window was titled “Addressing†in the upper left hand
corner. c) There are three button choices – two of which are “Add†and
“Properties†and I couldn’t make any changes with either one of them. Please
advise. Thank you.

1) Close the address book. It's irrelevant to what you need to do.

2) In the main Outlook window, display either the Folder List or Contacts navigation module.

3) Right-click the contacts folder that you want to show in the address book, then choose Properties.

4) Switch to the Outlook Address Book tab.

5) Check the box you see there.

6) Click OK.

Thanks again, Sue. Your last note get me started in the right direction.
Here's what I did: Open up the left hand navigation pane when you open
Outlook 2007 and bring up “Contacts†and open up “New†in the ribbon panel
and select “Folder†to create the address book. Enter the name of each new
address book that you want to create one at a time.
