Default msg format is Rich Text outlook 2007

All of a when create a new message and insert a URL or insert an attachment
or insert a message

showing up on the body of the message as:
{ HYPERLINK "http://www.google.ca/" }
{ EMBED Outlook.FileAttach }
{ EmBED Outlook.MsgAttach}

Outlook just starting doing this, I never changed anything. Tried changing
format to HTLM, does the same thing, tried Plain Text does the same thing.
If I go to the sent item and open it, the message contains the URL properly,
and the attached items properly.
How do I get rid of this.

Looks like you might have turned on show field codes option in Word 2007.
If you start a new message in Outlook, select the pearl button in the upper
left and then editor options button. Go to Advanced and then scroll down to
the Display E-mail content section.

Thanks, but setting is not staying off, is there a registry entry for that
one on Vista.

Assuming you have Word 2007 installed, try going thru Word to turn it off.
(Start Word 2007, pearl button, Word options button, Advanced, Show Document
content section.
