Outlook 2007 limited connections to Exchange

I am having an issue with Outlook 2007 on Windows Vista Business
connected to an Exchange 2003 server. After a bit of use Outlook
prevents me from opening folders, moving e-mails, ... with an error
message:

Your server administrator has limited the number of items you can open
simultaneously. Try closing messages you have opened or removing
attachments and images from unsent messages you are composing.

I have no unsent message. I have looked at my add-ins, and the
appropriate ones are there. I have also looked around my Exchange 2003
server settings and did not see anything that could be changed to fix
this issue.

We ran into this problem a lot after upgrading users to Outlook 2007,
particularly the users with laptops that connected and disconnected from the
LAN frequently (to go to meetings, etc)

We added this registry entry on the server as recommended by MS Support and
the problem went away:

Disable the session limit by setting the following value to 1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ParametersSystem
Value: Disable Session Limit

Thank you, that seems to have fixed the issue.

Hello,

Can someone provide some Microsoft articles for this issue and "fix"? I
am experiencing the same issue and wish to read the Microsoft stance on
these errors with Outlook 2007 connecting to Exchange 2003.

Regards,
Kevin
