When I have BCM installed, the only way I can get my inbox to refresh is to
change to another view, i.e. calendar, and then back to the inbox.

This problem has been consistant each time I install BCM.

I've never heard of this one before.

"Refresh" in what sense? Go look for new email messages from mail
server? Sort folder by another column?

Are you connected to Exchange or POP3?

Luther,

Thanks for getting to me. Whether I manual click Send/Receive Messages or
when mail comes in automaticly I can only see the emails that arrive once
I've left the inbox and returned to it. This can as simple as going to
another folder with Outlook or change to Calendar, etc.

In testing, I've sent myself emails to another of my POP3 accounts and I see
it being received but won't see it until I perform one of the methods above.

Thanks,

I have the same issue. Have to move to another mail folder then back to Inbox
to see the "new mail".

I haven't run into this (yet?), but I don't think BCM can cause this;
Outlook owns that folder.

I would try the question on microsoft.public.outlook, or search it for
other reports of this issue.
