Don't know what I did but the Outlook 2007 Icon at the top of the Start menu
has changed from the original and when I click it I get Internet Options,
not Outlook....all the other Icons for outlook work OK. How can I revert to
the original working icon?

thanks

Solved about two seconds after I posted this - removed the offending icon
and dragged one of the working ones to the spot - didn't know I could do
that!

That's a temporary fix, but I'm sure there's a better solution. I've got the
same problem and when I go to customize the start menu the options for
Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail work fine. But when I choose Microsoft
Office Outlook I get a generic envelope icon that, like you said, only opens
Internet Options.

Anyone know if anything other than a straight uninstall-reinstall will fix
this? I'd like to avoid that if possible because I'm not sure I have another
liscence to reinstall it.

You can re-install on the same machine as many times as you like....
