Outlook 2007 always hangs on Shutdown, and I am getting really annoyed with
it. I am using Windows XP, and also have the Outlook Connecter for Hotmail
accounts installed.

This has been a problem I have had for months, and it seems to be a common
problem, but I cannot find a way to resolve it.

What I mean that it hangs on Shutdown, is that it hangs when I try to
shutdown XP, not Outlook.

do you have any applications accessing outlook data?

I don't have any gadgets or widgets accessing Outlook. The only thing I can
think of is Nokia PC Suite, which I use to syncronise with Outlook, but it
happens even when that is not loaded in the system tray.

How about a search engine, like Google Desktop Search?

If it is not Google then do you have any 3rd party toolbar at all installed or anything similar.

I do not have any desktop search engines installed, and only have the
standard Google Toolbar, without Desktop Search.
