Outlook 2007 editor

When I am in the email section and click on new for a new email, the editor
opens and there are 3 paragraph markers put there automatically. How can I
get rid of these???

Have you selected stationery? Have you tried deleting NormalEmail.dotx to see
if that helps?
 
I have no stationary selected. If I chose a theme, the 3 markers are there.
The is no NormalEmail.dotx on my PC.

Open Windows Explorer and enter

%AppData%\Microsoft\Templates

in the Address field. Click Go. What do you see?
 
I see
normal.dotm
NormalEmail.dotm

I tried renaming the Normalemail.dotm so windows would create a new one and
I have the same problem.
I tried creating a new form for a new email and when I inserted the
"Message" field on the form, it had the 3 paragraph makers in it. I think
the problem is with the message widget (don't know what its called). I can't
figure out how to modify it.

Can you delete the paragraph symbols? Have you defined a signature? You
could always just disable showing formatting marks.
 
Yes I can delete the paragraph markers. but I send may 100 emails daily and
that is a pain. I do have a signature defined and the 3 paragraph entries
put to much blak space between my salutation and my signature.

I know I can turn off the markers, its the extra space thats the problem.
