Upon opening MSN E-mail, on occation it says "Restoring" and proceeds to
duplicate all entries in my archives. How do I eliminate this virus?

Outlook 2007 E-mail Duplication Problem

I recently migrated from Outlook Express to Outlook 2007. All went well
except for some reason every time I send a message there
is a copy of that item in my inbox as well as the sent item folder (and of
course to the recipient). I obviously don't want that message back in my
inbox.
How do I keep this from happening?

Do you have any rules set up on outgoing messages?

Does the same thing happen if you start Outlook in safe mode?
(Click Start>Run enter "outlook.exe /safe" (without the quotes, but with
the
space) in the Go field and click OK.)

Just tried safe mode and the problem still exists. My requirements are
simple.

My requirements are simple. All I want is incoming mail to be forwarded
to
either my wife's inbox or mine based on who its addressed to. I did this
in
Outlook Express and didn't have this problem.

Are you using Rules are actually forwarding the messages?
Are you using Rules are actually forwarding the messages? If rules, do you
have stop processing set? Is it a 'catch all' account or do you each have
your own username and passwords?

I'm using Rules to move incoming e-mail to their respective inboxes.

Stop processing? Unfortunately, I do not know what that is.
Each account has its own username and password.

Stop processing is an action in rules wizard.
Stop processing is an action in rules wizard. The rule should read ' move
message and stop processing'

I tried the stop processing rule.
I tried the stop processing rule. All incoming message are directed to
the
generic Inbox instead of either mine or my wife's inbox. Now, at least
the
sent message isn't reappearing back in the senders inbox, so we're making
some progress.
