outlook 2007 + desktop search

When I search from an email in outlook 2007 it embeds a desktop serch window
in OL. In OL 2003 I was able to drag search results to Tasks. The desktop
search window doesn't let me do this. How do I save a searched-for email to
Tasks?
 
Which Outlook beta version? B2 or B2TR?
Which version of WDS? Beta 1 or Beta 2?
What do you mean with embed a desktop search window?

It's B2TR.

I've figured out the issue- the problem is only when I search using the live
toolbar. Searching using instant search (the search box under "Inbox")
brings up the classical OL search results. Searching using the Live toolbar
brings up the desktop search window embedded in OL, which doesn't play as
nicely with OL.
