I find office 2007 to be an exciting new product to work with. However, as
there is always a however and much to dismay whenever I attempt to work with
Outlook 2007 it crashes! I have already removed the adobe add-in, even went
as far as to disable my mailguard feature as per what I had seen in my
sojourn searches in google that it could have been the problem.
However I am still experiencing crashes and possibly may uninstall outlook
2007 and install only 2003, if it'll let me. Any thoughts? Thanks in
advance!

P.S.
I have XP SP2 P4 2.8 machine with 3 gigs of memory.

I have OUTLOOK 2007 on 4 PCs now and all four are working well - make sure
that you have uninstalled all other versions of OUTLOOK.

It's funny that you say this, as I had to make a clean install of XP. you
know, format the drive etc and I am experiencing this problem. It's a total
joke really!

I think I may have found the culprit. it's act 2005 which was attempting to
add its extension into 2007 and was creating the crash. I found where that
was to disable and so far so good no crashes.........always something. I
think we need to have a utility tool that evaluates the software
compatibilities, dependencies etc so as to create a harmonious co-existence
on the binary level ;-)

I am having the same experience and have Act 2005 on my machine as well.
Can you tell me what specific steps you took to solve the issue. Thanks!
