Outlook 2007 Crashes

I'm using Vista Premium Home and Outlook 2007. I recently updated my
antivirus with BitDefender 2010 and the Outlook portion of Office 2007
stopped working. I was having some perodic Outlook crashes prior to this but
now it has stopped working. I ran Office Diagnostics which found nothing.
Here error message in the event log. I'm a home based consultant and cannot
loose the information in my contact files. Thanks for any help.

Failed to get the Crawl Scope Manager with error=0x80070005.

ID: 6, Application Name: Microsoft Office Outlook, Application Version:
12.0.6514.5000, Microsoft Office Version: 12.0.6425.1000. This session lasted
2 seconds with 0 seconds of active time. This session ended with a crash.
 
I'm planning to re-install Outlook 2007 but first I want to save my contacts
information. How can I backup my contacts information? Outlook will not open.

Hello! Have you tried to contact Microsoft? also, you can contact
Bitdefender and maybe then can help you sole this!
