I have recently installed Enterprise 2007 onto my new Vista PC.
I had previously transferred my Outlook 2003 with Contacts.
Now in Outlook 2007 all the contacts are visible but when I try to send an
email using the contacts email address the email sits in the Outbox and does
not succeed. When I manually type in the email address it works and sends
fine.

Clarify what you did to transfer your Outlook data. Are you saying you
attempted an in place upgrade of Outlook? Not recommended. At the very least
you must create a new Outlook profile from scratch to get things working.

I used a transfer cable and the new Vista software....

How do I go about creating a new Outlook profile?

No wonder. You cannot use Windows Easy Transfer with Outlook. It doesn't
work. You must copy the Outlook data file to your new drive and open it in a
new profile.

I hope you don't have both Exchange and Outlook on the same machine. That
usually doesn't work well.
