Outlook Outlook 2007 Calendar freezes when scrolling back through months

I have a user whose Office Oulook 2007 freezes when he scrolls back through the months in Calendar. Same month all the time...scroll back, get to May, the program locks freezes and does nothing. Force a shutdown, error reporting done, but nothing suggested. Looked here for solutions, nothing quite pertaining to my conundrum.

Any and all possible fixes are welcomed; the user is antsy to get this resolved and his life and work rely heavily on the history contained in that calendar.
