Outlook 2007 calendar automatically adding event as recurring

If I create a new event and the date and time is different then the current
date and time, it makes the event recurring. This is true for both standard
events and Live Meeting events. If I click on an hour in a day view and add
the event, it doesn't make it recurring
 
Do you have a new Dell (I can't believe they haven't fixed this yet!)

If yes, then delete the outlookaddinsetup from Add/Remove programs in
Control Panel (in Vista->Programs)

After furious head scratching, R3BS asked:
