Hi, I have a broken 2007 client that won't repair, won't uninstall and can't
reinstall over the broken one. On the uninstall it hangs with a message
window "error 1305.Setup cannot read file" with the path
C:\windows\assemble\GAC\Mircosoft.mshtme\7.0.3300.0_b03f5f7..blah
.....\Microsoft.mshtml.dll

Any ideas? (other than wiping the drive?)

What does Outlook do that makes you think it is broken? Please post the exact symptoms.

How are you trying to repair it? Please post the exact steps.

How are you trying to uninstall? Again, see above.

Why are you trying to reinstall - that never solves any problem?

It didn't launch yesterday and I forget the exact problem I was having on
this particular client. But I did log in and launch Outlook and it seems to
be working again. Im going to try it again on Friday with a regular user.
Thanks.
