Outlook 2007 and webmail.aol.com

Had to do hard reset on my system, and have tried everything, but cannot get
webmail.aol.com e-mail to function in Outlook 2007 Was functioning fully
before, and have the same settings. Have tried turning off Norton, and have
tried every possible alternative setting. Welcome any suggestions.

Did you follow the instructions AOL provides? (It's similar for Outlook
2007.)

Also, a simple two second Google search for "access aol mail with Outlook"
would have helped.
 
Thank you for your response, and for posting links, but, yes, I have followed
all directions on both sites. I am posting here to explore options beyone
the 587 smtp setting... I am seeking other possible solutions. Everything
works except outgoing e-mail from one account.
